Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Couples: Ear Candling.

Each partner must book their own appointment at half the full package price; selecting the same time slot ensures a shared experience. Contact reception if you need consecutive rooms or assistance coordinating bookings for simultaneous sessions.

When performed by our trained therapists, ear candling is conducted with strict safety protocols; we screen for contraindications like perforated eardrums, active infections, or severe allergies. Please disclose medical history beforehand so we can confirm suitability or recommend alternatives.

Each individual ear candling treatment takes about 20 to 30 minutes, so the full couples experience is typically 45 to 60 minutes including consultation, relaxation time, and post-treatment discussion. Allow extra time for additional support if requested.

Many guests experience reduced ear and sinus pressure after treatment, as candling can ease blockages and improve drainage. It’s supportive rather than curative; for persistent sinus infections or severe symptoms, consult a physician and combine treatments as recommended.

We generally advise ear candling for adults and older teens; children under 12 or individuals with fragile eardrums require medical clearance. Our therapists will review health history and assess each guest to ensure the treatment is safe and appropriate.

After the session you may notice clearer hearing, decreased pressure, and light relaxation. Some guests see residual wax on the candle; avoid inserting objects in the ear. Drink water, rest briefly, and contact us with any discomfort or follow-up questions.
