Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Advanced Foot Cleanse / TENS.

A typical session combines an infrared ionic foot soak with mild electrolytic current and a TENS unit applied to feet or lower legs. The treatment lasts about 40–60 minutes, monitored by a therapist to ensure comfort and therapeutic intensity.

Frequency depends on goals and health status. For acute detox or inflammation relief, weekly sessions for 3–6 weeks are common. Maintenance treatments every 2–8 weeks may follow. We assess progress and tailor a schedule to individual response and medical considerations.

Generally safe for healthy adults, but not appropriate for pregnant people, those with pacemakers, implanted electrical devices, active infections, or severe circulatory conditions. A pre-session health intake and consultation screens for contraindications and adapts settings or recommends alternatives as needed.

Most clients experience mild tingling, warmth, or deep relaxation rather than pain. TENS intensity and ionic settings are adjusted for comfort; therapists monitor responses continuously. Report any discomfort immediately so we can reduce intensity or pause the session.

Immediate effects may include reduced swelling, relaxed muscles, clearer mental focus, and improved sleep. Longer-term benefits—less inflammation, better digestion, increased energy—usually require a series of treatments combined with hydration, nutrition, and lifestyle support.

Hydrate well, avoid heavy meals immediately before the session, and wear comfortable clothing that allows ankle access. Share medications, medical history, and any skin issues with your therapist. Plan to rest and continue drinking water after treatment to support detox pathways.
