Results typically last three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles and individual hormones. With regular waxing, regrowth often becomes finer and sparser. Schedule maintenance every four to six weeks to maintain smoothness and prevent excessive regrowth.
Some discomfort is normal, especially on sensitive areas, but our estheticians use numbing techniques, proper wax temperature, and efficient removal to minimize pain. Deep breathing, relaxed muscles, and post-care soothing products greatly reduce sensitivity during and after the service.
Trim longer hair to about a quarter-inch if needed, arrive with clean dry skin free of lotions, and exfoliate a day or two before to remove dead skin. Avoid recent sunburns, chemical peels, or intense sun exposure prior to waxing.
Temporary redness, mild swelling, or tiny bumps are common immediately after waxing and usually subside within 24–48 hours. Avoid hot baths, heavy exercise, and sun exposure for the first day or two; use soothing gels or recommended aftercare to reduce irritation.
Regular professional waxing removes hairs from the root, which often reduces ingrown hairs compared to shaving. Paired with proper exfoliation and moisturization, waxing can minimize irritation and promote smoother regrowth. We recommend targeted aftercare to prevent bumps.
Wait at least 12–24 hours before hot showers, saunas, or vigorous exercise to avoid irritation and bacterial exposure. Cool showers are acceptable after a few hours. Follow our aftercare guidance including gentle cleansing and avoiding fragranced products for two days.
